~No, you’re not at the wrong blog :)~

Things may look a little different around here. Shy Photography got a makeover!! I love it…. such a breath of fresh air! I had to fight the urge to put music on my blog though ;)   ..

Renee of Thompson Designs did all the design work on my blog including my watermark, header and background. She is AWESOME. I can’t say it enough. So if you need design work, she is the one to go to!

There are a few major things different. There is no splash page anymore, but hey, it’s one less click, right!? There is now a pricing page, a contact page, and links to all my portfolios right at the top navigation bar in the blog. So easy!  I have a twitter feed right into my blog  just in case you were wondering what I was doing right at THIS exact moment! :)   One of my favorite things is the “recent posts” drop down menu that allows you to see the blog titles and go straight to what ever post you like.  (Comes in handy when you want to show off your session!)

A few things here and there may get changed later as I go and figure out things and come up with other awesomeness I want to add.

Let me know what you think!! This is the unveiling and I am anxious to get some feedback… :)

Shooting with Francis ~An Austin Affair~

I had the opportunity to shoot with Francis Cruzada of Francis Joseph Photography in the Texas Hill country at the BEAUTIFUL Villa Antonia!! This place is definitely on my list when I get married ~ I just fell in love with it, and it shows with my 12,436 detail shots that I took of the venue! To top it off the wedding was just a blast!

You might notice the layout of the images is a little different, what can I say, I like to try new things! I hope you like it!! There will be big changes with my blog soon so stay tuned!! :)

A day with the animals …

Today I attended a meet up with the Alamo Arts Photography Group hosted by Rolando Gomez at the Zoo. I hadn’t been to the zoo since I first started in photography so it was awesome to think about where I have come since I first picked up my camera! Met some great people today and I look forward to networking with everyone and forming some great friendships! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day …

^^ This little guy was just flying around on the zoo grounds stealing the show from the lions and I couldn’t help but get some shots of him!

Lots of butterflies in at the zoo today! Can’t complain cause I LOVE butterflies….

Ok…my favorite of the entire day… these creatures are just majestic … and you just can’t beat a hippo rumpus :)

Shelly and Scott ~ Part 2~

As promised here is part 2 of Shelly and Scott’s wedding!! I had so much fun that day and I really am happy that I was able to play a part in it! It was truly great working with you guys! Enjoy!!!

I love the entrance to the Seekatz Opera House, it’s so pretty! :)

We decided to go across the street and take some fun shots before the ceremony!!

After we wore the bridal party out and possibly dragged them through poison ivy (I like to add a little adventure to all my sessions ;) , Shelly, Scott and I sent them back to the Opera House and we went around New Braunfels for a few more shots!!

Shelly couldn’t help but stop and smell the roses!

^^^ Getting a little practice in for the first dance!

Shelly, holding her grandmas handkerchief from her wedding, as she waits before the ceremony to begin …

Shelly sang the most beautiful song I have ever heard while Scott played the piano … yea .. I totally cried! (I usually do at least once during a wedding!!)

They dropped the rings…
