Saima and Imran’s Wedding {Part 1}

This past weekend was spent in Dallas with Lynette J and Ben Godkin second shooting a beautiful Pakistani wedding for Lynette. It was one of the most unique and colorful weddings I have ever been too, I learned so much about their culture and some of the traditions that go into the 5 day affair! Talk about exhausted after it was all said and done with.

I am breaking the photos into multiple post because there are just soooo many. Here are some of my favorite from the second night.

^ that was one of the craziest things I have ever seen at a wedding, and I got egg spatter all of my shirt and lens cap for some of those shot .. um.. at least I hope it was egg lol… there was some interesting stuff getting thrown at him.

Wow .. amazing dancing! I couldn’t believe how beautiful it is… gave me goosebumps through out the entire night!

A fun way to end the night with the bride and groom getting their groove on!! :)

Stay tuned for some amazing stuff from Part 2 of the wedding!!

The Atkins Wedding

Kellie and Bradley were awesome! There are just some weddings that you just fall in love with and this was one of them. It was short and sweet and there was no reception, only a small intimate dinner at Cypress Grill a wonderful little restaurant. The ceremony took place in downtown Boerne under the gazebo. To my surprise the day was just perfect, when I left my house it was raining cats and dogs, I immediately thought “Oh no! its going to rain on them!!” A 45 minute drive later we arrived in Boerne with no rain in sight. It never rained a drop the rest of the evening, but left the storm clouds behind to make for a nice backdrop!

My favorite part though was Kellie, she was simply beautiful. She was so full of emotion during the whole wedding, I just loved taking her photos, she would cry, then laugh, then cry again :) Bradley just lit up when she was around him, it was really amazing to witness their love…Kellie walked like a block from the hotel to the park, complete with onlookers and honking cars, you could see her holding back her tears and excitement. After the ceremony Kellie and Bradley even got into, yes I said INTO the pond behind the gazebo to get some really fun and beautiful photos!! What can I say … I get the best couples!!!

anyway.. enough sappy, on to the photos!!!

Kellie, Bradley – It was an honor to spend this day with you! :)

Special thanks to all who helped make with wedding so beautiful!!

He’s here!! :) Benjamin Lewis

I can’t say enough good things about him.  He really should be out there modeling everything under the sun! I want to help him out with that as much as I possibly can! So without further ado..

^ That was such a crazy shot… that bridge was very high .. I looked down after walking about halfway out, was totally freaked out… Ben was so brave… but you should have seen his face when I told him to lay across the tracks :)   Oh and he’s 6′8 those are not just baby train tracks! hehe

One of my favorites:

Ok .. yeah there are a lot of photos haha .. but I just liked them all!  :) Thanks Ben, for being such a good model! However, I have been having dreams about falling through high bridges ever since!!  haha
